How to find trending products on Etsy: free and paid data

Last reviewed November 4, 2026

Quick answerStart with Etsy Marketplace Insights, which shows trending searches in your categories over the past 30 days, then check the listings behind them for recent growth. EverBee's trend data needs Growth.

Trending searches in Etsy Marketplace Insights

To find trending products on Etsy, open Marketplace Insights and read the trending searches in your categories over the past 30 days. Etsy's help pages give the route:

  1. Go to Shop Manager.
  2. Select Stats.
  3. Select Marketplace Insights.
  4. Enter a keyword into the search bar to view search data.

Sellers can explore up to 15 keyword searches a week for free, and each search's results stay available for 7 days. Marketplace Insights also lists terms related to your keyword, so you can spot phrases with high buyer interest and fewer listings. Etsy Plus, at $10 a month, allows unlimited keyword searches. The tool works on Etsy's desktop and mobile web versions only.

Growth rate on single listings

A trending search shows what buyers type; a growth rate shows whether the listings behind it are selling faster. EverBee's Daily Trends article asks which products are growing quickly. On Growth it shows daily trends for the last month in your table, and sorting by Growth Rate puts fast-moving listings first. Table-level filters on Growth apply only to the last month, so a longer look at one listing is a separate step.

EverBee's Growth plan shows Trends & Growth Rate on single listings from last month to all time; the best Etsy seller tools guide shows how it sits among the options. Business unlocks up to 24 months of trend data and filters of 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months. The pricing page puts the longer 3-, 6-, 12- and 24-month patterns on Business; EverBee's product page describes 1- to 24-month trends without naming a plan.

Hot Filters for new bestsellers

EverBee says its Hot Filters show trending, fast-growing and brand-new bestselling products in one click. Growth includes 3 Hot Filters, and Business adds unlimited custom filters. On the pricing page, Hobby has basic filters and a dash for Trends & Growth Rate, and EverBee offers no trial of Growth.

Check a trend before you make it

Put the 30-day search trend beside the listing's age and its estimated sales. EverBee works out monthly sales as total sales divided by listing age, so an older listing averages its whole history, and every sales figure is an estimate. Because the Insights window is the last 30 days, a search that rose recently is a lead to check, not a settled niche. EverBee's Product Analytics lists an all-time window that runs from listing creation until the past 7 days, so the two windows answer different questions. A short routine for one rising search:

  1. Note the rising search in Marketplace Insights and its related terms.
  2. Search the phrase on Etsy and open the listings that come up.
  3. Sort by Growth Rate in EverBee, if you have Growth, and compare the fast movers with their age.
  4. List one test item, then watch visits, orders and conversion rate in Etsy Stats, which covers your own shop and refreshes visits a few times a day.

A seller who only wants this month's search trends can stay on Marketplace Insights and its free searches. A seller who checks listing growth every week across many niches is the one to move to a paid plan; the What is EverBee? guide explains the product first.
