How to see other Etsy shop sales: estimates and their limits

Last reviewed November 4, 2026

Quick answerEtsy Stats covers your own shop only; for another shop, research tools give estimates. EverBee's Growth plan estimates monthly sales per listing, and eRank tracks a shop's estimated daily sales.

What Etsy shows you about your own shop

Etsy's help pages give the route to your own shop's numbers in Stats:

  1. On Etsy.com, choose Shop Manager.
  2. Choose Stats.
  3. Read visits, orders, average order value, conversion rate and revenue.

Stats defines Orders as completed purchases placed by customers, not the number of individual items sold. Etsy's help article on total sales covers opening your own public shop from Shop Manager: the sales number counts open and completed orders, leaves out canceled ones, and is updated in real time. Etsy says the numbers in different places vary slightly. Stats history runs from November 2017 to the present.

How EverBee estimates a listing's monthly sales

EverBee's help center says its Shop Analyzer lets you view competitors' sales revenue, tags and other insights. It works from the data Etsy shares, so the figures are approximations: monthly sales are total sales divided by listing age, and monthly revenue is price times monthly sales.

One analysis covers the listings on the Etsy page you are on, which is usually 64. On the Dashboard, EverBee shows all the listings of a shop you analyze. EverBee's Growth plan adds sales, revenue and conversion rate to Product Analytics; EverBee vs eRank compares it with eRank.

EverBee's terms say its information may include inaccuracies, and its help center calls the product a guide, not exact results. Hobby stops at views, reviews and favorites.

To estimate another shop in EverBee:

  1. Analyze the shop from the Dashboard, or use the extension on an Etsy search page.
  2. Read the monthly sales and monthly revenue columns, which need Growth or Business.
  3. Check the listing age, because an older listing averages its whole history.
  4. Write the figures down as estimates with the date you read them.

How eRank tracks a shop's daily sales

eRank's plans page says you can track the estimated daily number of sales for any Etsy shop. Its Free plan lists 1 shop with 50 listings. The figure is an estimate and moves with eRank's method, not Etsy's own count.

eRank Basic is $5.99 a month on monthly billing and lists 200 connected shop listings. Choose eRank first when you want a shop's daily number rather than a per-listing table.

Reading two estimates side by side

Tools use different methods, so the same shop can show different numbers in each. Run the shop through two, treat both as estimates, and compare direction and size rather than exact counts. EverBee's help center notes its estimates come out low for a listing that converts much better than normal. Alura's home page also labels its sales figures as estimates and describes product, shop and keyword research.

For a shortlist of tools, see the best Etsy product research tool guide, and read the EverBee review for plan detail. A seller who needs only their own numbers needs no tool beyond Etsy Stats; a seller sizing up competitors' shops every week is the one to move to a paid plan.
